If you could invite one person to lunch, who would it be?

One? There are so many people I’d love to have the opportunity to learn from. I’d love to have lunch with Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Plato, Marie Curie, Queen Victoria, Warren Buffett, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Barack Obama, Albert Einstein and Jessica Alba.

What are your favorite quotes?

“You make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” Falsely attributed to Winston Churchill.

“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart.” -Helen Keller

“A winner never quits, and a quitter never wins.” My mom said this to me over and over again growing up.

What is the funniest thing someone has said to you?

When I worked at Sprint, we were building a new billing system. A user sent an email stating requirements for the billing system to support functionality that allowed “billing in advance, current billing, and billing in the rears.” Needless to say, it became the project mantra.
