Allison

Allison is a true jack of all trades when it comes to the workplace. With a background in engineering, business, and marketing, she is a talented individual with a rare affinity for both numbers and art. She loves branding and marketing because it satisfies her need to be both creative and analytical in her work. As the former Marketing Manager for local agency in Virginia, she was responsible for overseeing a full spectrum of business and marketing operations, including content creation, marketing strategy and execution, client relations, process automation, and workflow optimization. She understands the importance of optimizing business operations without sacrificing the quality and consistency of the work. She is not afraid to speak up and recommend creative solutions if she truly believes it will contribute to a company’s success and growth. Her goal at CGM is to help build brands that people truly want to get behind. She brings a lot of passion and energy to the brands she represents, and that level of enthusiasm shows through her work.

Allison highly prioritizes creating a “crazy good” working relationship with both her clients and the team. She leads by example in fostering an open-minded, collaborative environment. She believes strongly in focusing on people’s strengths and providing constructive feedback where needed. When it comes to client relations, she is a pillar of communication, trust, respect, and teamwork.

Allison earned her BS in Environmental Engineering from SUNY ESF and University College London. Outside of work, her interests are just as diverse as her skillset! She is a marketing professional by day, and a painter, pianist, disc golfer, and equestrian by night. She also loves to volunteer at her local animal shelter as a dog walker and cat playmate.

If you could invite one person to lunch, who would it be?

Meik Wiking, CEO of The Happiness Research Institute. I really admire his mission to study what makes some societies happier than others. He is a talented writer as well; I highly recommend picking up one of his books. I try to incorporate the techniques he talks about in his books into my daily life whenever possible. I would love to have lunch with him to praise him for his tremendous work and to pick his brain on his latest findings about the factors that impact quality of life and overall well-being.
