Celebration, passion and adventure are at the core of everything Mary does. She delights in connecting people with new ideas and solutions, hence her love for writing for personal brands and small business.
After completing her BA in English Literature at the University of Colorado at Denver, Mary “Forrest Gumped” her way to a successful beauty business. Having gone from being self-conscious on social media to enthusiastic organic brand builder herself, Mary has helped more than 100 North American beauty professionals develop their own version of genuine, joyful social media marketing. Her deep passion for celebrating a person’s unique je ne c’est quoi led her to conversion copywriting, which she now contributes at Crazy Good Marketing with the enthusiasm of a 7th grader at their first co-ed skate party.
When Mary’s not writing for small business, you’ll probably find her playing card games on the patio of a local brewery, trying to teach her tuxedo cat Basil to walk on a leash, or planning a trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in a thinly veiled campaign to defend her title of Cool Auntie. She still spends a few days a month co-creating beauty, confidence and community with women and men in Broomfield, Colorado.
If you could invite one person to lunch, who would it be?
Laura Belgray. I’d love to nerd out over her engaging, funny, endearing storytelling and possibly end up in one of her awesome stories! She’s the only person in the world who might ever convince me to watch Real Housewives.
