Amy is a seasoned professional in skills development, performance coaching and brand development. Amy has over 20 years’ experience in training and development at Hunter Douglas, the industry’s leading manufacturer of custom-made window fashions. She was integral in the creation of the Hunter Douglas Customer Education department, where she and her team used knowledge-based systems to market, advertise and communicate the Hunter Douglas brand message and drive loyalty and success across all channels. From developing skills training, to organizing small to large-scale conferences throughout the US and abroad, and promoting the launch of new products, Amy and her team supported over 1200 dealers and 500 installers nationally.
Amy is skilled in online training and communications (websites, webcasts, social media, videos, blogs) as well as instructor-led training, developing training for individuals and teams. Amy is a top performing individual contributor as well as a team lead, having managed teams of over 20 people and budgets over $4M.
Amy has a BS in Economics and a Masters in Applied Communications from the University of Denver. She is currently pursuing an MA in Instructional Design and Online Learning from University of Colorado – Denver.
